You're committed, you’re putting in real effort in your public sector role, and you care about doing great work. But when promotion rounds are paused and the wider job market's tight, it's hard to know how to keep progressing your career. It can feel like there are obstacles blocking your way in every direction.
But there's a different way, and it's exactly what I help with: finding out whether your current role has scope to be reshaped — so you can do more of the work that energises you, get real stretch and challenge, doing less of what leaves you flat — and then making that happen.
There are two ways we can work together, depending on the help you need right now:
Topic-focused coaching — for making progress on a specific challenge, in a single session
Personalised coaching — ongoing, fully tailored support as you make bigger changes.
Single coaching sessions structured around common work challenges
These 1:1 online coaching sessions support you with tools and strategies you can try straightaway, to reduce stress, progress your career and get greater job satisfaction.
My first topic-focused coaching session on how to tackle getting overwhelmed at work helps you stay on track when things get stressful, cracking your overwhelm code is the first step to being able to take charge to progress your career.
Currently in development! My career progression diagnostic session will help you find out if there's scope to reshape your current job using the process of job crafting - for work that's better aligned with who you are and what you like doing, and gives you opportunities to grow. Or, for some, the clarity that a full job change is what's really needed. Keen to try it? Get in contact and I'll let you know as soon as it's ready.
One-to-one coaching built entirely around you and what you're navigating at work
For when you want help for your unique situation and work challenges, or to use the job crafting process to achieve a redesign of your current role, at a pace that suits you and your goals - not anyone else's.
This kind of coaching is also valuable when you've already got a good idea what you need to do, or where you need to go, but want to bounce what you've found out off a real person, with real public sector experience.
We start with what matters most to you, and go from there.
